Dr. Altman completed his dermatology residency at the University of Michigan, a top dermatology program in the country. With a special interest in skin cancer treatment, Dr. Altman also completed a fellowship at the Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York City.
Dr. Altman is board-certified in dermatology and prides himself in continuing education and staying on the cutting edge. He is a member of several professional organizations including the American Academy of Dermatology, American Society for Dematologic Surgery, and several other medical societies. He is Chief of the Subdivision of Dermatology at Riddle Memorial Hospital and was previously a Clinical Instructor in the Department of Dermatology at the University of Pennsylvania.
Dr. Altman completed his undergraduate education at the University of Pennsylvania, where he graduated Magna cum laude. He then obtained his medical degree from Temple University, where he was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society.
Dr. Altman has authored numerous articles published in premier medical journals. He has been an investigator for numerous clinical trials and was awarded the Ralph Coskey research award as a resident.
Dr. Altman has received specialized training in several areas of cosmetic dermatology. He prides himself in being able to offer exceptional skill in many cosmetic procedures while maintaining his medical and surgical foundation.
Dr. Altman's philosophy of treating each patient with individualized care is unwavering. This holds true for all of his cosmetic, surgical, and medical patients.
Dr. Altman has been recognized as a TOP DERMATOLOGIST by US NEWS AND WORLD REPORT and in PHILADELPHIA MAGAZINE in 2013-2020. He has been repeatedly named as a Top Doctor in MAIN LINE TODAY Magazine, and has several times been the highest rated Dermatologist (most recently 2019).
Dr. Altman is currently the President of the Philadelphia Dermatological society (2020-2021).
Dr. Patel was born and raised in New Jersey. After graduating as valedictorian of his high school class, he completed an accelerated medical program at UMDNJ – New Jersey Medical School. He received a full academic scholarship to the university and graduated with membership to the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honors Society. He went on to complete an internship at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York City. He completed his dermatology residency at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas, TX. During this time he performed clinical research in medical dermatology and published several articles in peer-reviewed journals and textbooks. He has completed a research fellowship studying the biology of cutaneous squamous cell carcinoma at the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, MD. Dr. Patel also teaches residents as a Clinical Instructor at the VA Medical Center Dermatology Clinic in Philadelphia.
Dr. Patel is board-certified in dermatology, and maintains an interest in the full breadth of dermatology, including care for skin cancer patients, medical dermatology, and cosmetic dermatology with an emphasis on building a strong doctor-patient relationship.
Dr. Patel continues to work nationally with the American Academy of Dermatology, and is passionate about volunteerism and patient advocacy. Furthermore, he retains membership in multiple dermatology specialty societies. Recently, Dr. Patel has served as a Director-at-Large for the Pennsylvania Academy of Dermatology.
Dr. Patel has been named a Top Doctor in Main Line Today magazine.
Dr. Schilling was born and raised in the Philadelphia area. After graduating summa cum laude from Bucknell University, she earned her medical degree at Jefferson Medical College (now Sidney Kimmel Medical School). During this time, she was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society and graduated magna cum laude. Following medical school, Dr. Schilling completed her internship at Lankenau Medical Center and dermatology residency at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia.
Dr. Schilling has had the distinct privilege of completing an accredited cosmetic dermatologic surgery fellowship at Maryland Dermatology, Laser, Skin & Vein Institute under the guidance of Dr. Robert Weiss, a renowned leader in the field. Here, Dr. Schilling received extensive training on various cosmetic procedures including neuromodulators, soft-tissue fillers, energy-based devices, and more.
Dr. Schilling is a board-certified dermatologist and has been published in multiple respected peer-reviewed journals and has presented at national conferences. She is an active member of the American Academy of Dermatology, American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery, and the Women’s Dermatologic Society. Dr. Schilling continues to have a strong interest in both general and cosmetic dermatology. She firmly believes in patient-centered care and prides herself in forming trusting and respectful relationships with her patients.
Dr. Donna Mackay attended an accelerated Medical School Program at the University of Miami, Florida after obtaining a PhD in Molecular Biology. She originally moved to Philadelphia for an internship in Internal Medicine at the Medical College of Pennsylvania and a Dermatology residency at the Skin and Cancer Hospital at Temple University. Dr Mackay has been board certified in Dermatology since 1981.
As chief of the subdivision of dermatology at Paoli Hospital, Dr. Mackay performed in-patient dermatology consultations for 35 years. Dr. Mackay has been a long time member of many dermatology societies including the American Academy of Dermatology, the Philadelphia Dermatological Society, and the Atlantic Dermatology Society, to name a few. She has also served on the Board of the Pennsylvania Academy of Dermatology for several years and most recently she has been their treasurer.
Dr. Mackay believes in treating all patients as if they are members of her own family.
Dr. Halpern is a fellowship trained Mohs Surgeon. He attended Harvard Medical School and completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Lenox Hill Hospital. He was chief resident of Dermatology at St. Luke’s Roosevelt Hospital-Columbia University where he completed a two-year fellowship in Mohs Surgery and Cutaneous Oncology at New York Presbyterian-Columbia University. He is Board Certified in Dermatology.
Originally from the Philadelphia area, Nancy is excited to be a part of the Aesthetic Dermatology team. She is a Diplomate of the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants (SDPA), a credential only obtained by a small number of Physician Assistants in the country. SDPA Diplomates have been awarded their status following the completion of a rigorous and challenging set of training modules geared specifically toward being a dermatology PA. She graduated from the University of Central Florida Honors College with a Bachelor’s in Biology and went on to complete her Masters in Physician Assistant Studies at Nova Southeastern University. Nancy began her career in urgent care and emergency medicine, but has since followed her passion to practice in dermatology. She is a nationally certified physician assistant and is licensed in Pennsylvania. She is an active member in several dermatology societies including the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants (SDPA) and the Pennsylvania Dermatology Physician Assistants (PDPA), where she serves on the board of directors. Nancy enjoys interacting with patients everyday and strongly believes in a team-based approach to patient care.
Bridget was born in New Jersey and raised along the Jersey Shore, and has since settled down in the Philadelphia suburbs with her husband, James. She received her Bachelor of Science in Biology with a minor in Spanish from the University of Scranton. Bridget continued her education at Salus University where she graduated summa cum laude with a Masters of Health Science in Physician Assistant Studies in 2018, and was the recipient of the Clinical Excellence Award. She is a nationally certified physician assistant and started her early career in interventional pain management. Bridget pursued her dream of working in dermatology and is very excited to have joined Aesthetic Dermatology Associates. Bridget is an active member of the Pennsylvania Dermatology Physician Assistant Society. Bridget is eager to help others and being a PA allows her to serve her patients by listening, educating, treating, and continuing care. Bridget believes in the importance of emphasizing daily skin care practices for skin health and disease prevention.
Dr. Marvin completed her dermatology residency at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN. During her training, she gained expertise in medical, surgical and cosmetic dermatology. She has published in multiple peer-reviewed journals and presented at national conferences.
Dr. Marvin completed her medical school training at the University at Buffalo (Jacobs School of Medicine) in Buffalo, NY. While in medical school, she was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society.
Prior to medical school, Dr. Marvin graduated from Yale University with a degree in Molecular, Cellular and Developmental Biology. She was also a member of the track and cross country teams and was twice selected as the cross country team MVP in addition to receiving the Gerald R. Ford Scholar Athlete Award at graduation.
Dr. Marvin is a member of multiple dermatology specialty societies. She focuses on patient-centered care and is committed to developing an individualized treatment plan for every patient she sees.
Aimee Krausz, MD, FACMS is a fellowship-trained Mohs Micrographic and Reconstructive Surgeon and a Board-Certified Dermatologist who specializes in the comprehensive treatment of skin cancer. As a skin cancer expert, she ensures the complete removal of your skin cancer and focuses on aesthetic and elegant reconstruction.
Dr. Krausz graduated as a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society from Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York. She completed her internship at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and her dermatology residency at Albert Einstein, where she served as chief resident. She then completed a rigorous fellowship in Mohs Micrographic Surgery, Cutaneous Oncology and Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the University of Pennsylvania. She loves teaching medical students and residents and is actively involved in research focused on advancing the field of dermatologic oncology.
Dr. Krausz has published numerous articles in national and international peer-reviewed medical journals and lectures nationally on dermatologic surgery and cutaneous oncology. She is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology, the American College of Mohs Surgery, the American Society of Dermatologic Surgery and the American Society for Laser, Medicine and Surgery.
She lives in Merion with her husband and three children and is excited to serve the Main Line community!
